When you pay for a listing, we store whatever you choose to submit: a name (optional, not verified: you can leave it blank), a reason, and, for a Pond Keeper listing, a business type and a link. From that link we also read its public favicon, title, and short description to show with your listing. We also assign an anonymous, randomly generated visitor ID stored in your browser (localStorage) so we can count unique visitors and show "online now", and we keep your theme preference (light/dark) the same way. Standard server logs (including your IP address) are kept briefly for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

We never see or store your card number, billing address, or any other payment credential. Those go directly to Dodo Payments, our payment processor, who handles the transaction as merchant of record under its own privacy policy.

Dodo Payments processes the payment itself and receives whatever billing information it needs to do that. Cloudflare hosts the site, serves its edge network, and processes the anonymous traffic data behind our own Live Stats page. We don't sell data and we run no advertising trackers. For traffic we use our own anonymous heartbeat counter, plus Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites.

We use your browser's localStorage (not cookies) for exactly two things: your anonymous visitor ID and your theme preference. Neither is used for advertising or shared with anyone. Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn't use cookies either.

A listing's name, link, reason, and amount become part of the pond's public, permanent history (Leaderboard, Memorial) and are kept indefinitely as a record of that generation · this is a core, disclosed part of how the project works. If you'd like something you submitted taken down from public display, contact us and we'll consider the request; totals may still reflect the payment anonymously.

This site isn't directed at children, and you must be old enough to legally use the payment method you give with.
